In collaboration with Stem@it, MOCA2024 will host 3 educational workshops for children and teenagers.
Our beloved STEM activities such as robotics challenges, 3D modeling, and video game design are waiting for you to unleash creativity and skills. This unique mix ensures a rich experience of exploration, learning and fun for children ages 7 to 16.
Each workshop has a cost of 10 euros to be paid on the spot
The maximum number of participants in each workshop is 20 people.
You can book your participation in the workshops when you purchase a child ticket.

What will be done:
- Show and Test: Recycled PET Filament for 3D Printing. Learn how PET bottles can be turned into filament for 3D printers. Try it yourself and see the magic of recycling in action.
- 3D Design Workshops with Tinkercad. Learn the basics of 3D modeling with Tinkercad. Create your own designs and see how they come to life through 3D printing.
- Architectural Project: Geodesic Dome. Participate in an architectural project to build a geodesic dome. Understand the principles of architecture and engineering in a fun and interactive way.
This workshop lasts one hour and will be conducted:

What will be done:
- Program robots to complete tasks in a miniature city. Learn how to control the robots by remote control and discover how they can improve life in the city.
- Design and program a smart LED lighting system that can change color and react to different conditions in the room. Learn the basics of home automation and IoT.
This workshop lasts one hour and will be conducted:

What will be done:
- Use Cospace, child-friendly software, to create and explore 3D worlds. Immerse yourself in the metaverse and bring your imagination to life.
- Put on an Oculus Quest 2 VR visor and explore virtual worlds. Visit tropical beaches, underwater oceans and even outer space in an immersive experience.
