Frequently Asked Questions.

if you don’t find the information you were looking for, you can always write to us at [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

Can I arrive before the 13th or stay past September 15?
Of course! It will also be an opportunity to get to know each other better! You will find us at the campground busy preparing as early as Sept. 12, we will also stay the night of the 15th. If you come with your own tent or RV you will be able to access the event campsite during these two days and help us out if you want! On the other hand, if you are staying at the adjacent campsite (bungalow) you will have to contact the facility yourself to check availability.
Is it possible to access MOCA only one or two days (daily)?
We suggest that those attending MOCA experience it for the entire duration, despite this we have made a daily ticket with a cost of 20 euros. The day ticket cannot be purchased online nor can it be used to stay overnight within the camp.
If we are several people in tents or RVs, which ticket should we buy?
Even if you share a tent or RV space you still need to purchase the ticket that includes overnight stay, example: together with 2 other friends we will share a tent in 3, so we will purchase 3 "Standard Ticket + tent" tickets.
What does the "Standard Ticket" or "Children Ticket@" include?
These tickets guarantee access to the MOCA2024 event, but NOT overnight stay in the designated areas.
Can I purchase tent or RV space without participating in MOCA?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to purchase overnight accommodations without access to the event. The designated areas are located within the campsite where the conference will be held.
I don't feel like staying in a tent or RV, are there any alternatives?
Of course. We have made an agreement with the adjacent camping site for an agreed price on Bungalows. In addition, there are many B&Bs and Hotels near the camping site. All information on overnight stay is here https://moca.camp/en/accomodation/
I'm taking little ones with me, will there be activities for them?
In addition to a great beach to spend time on, we have organized educational activities in collaboration with Steam@it. To book one or more activities you will need to take the children@ ticket (with or without an overnight stay), at checkout you can then select the workshops as add-ons. A full list and schedule is available in the MOKids section.
I bought the ticket without an overnight stay but changed my mind. Can I add a tent or camper place?
Absolutely, you can email us at [email protected] indicating your order number, we will modify the ticket for you and you can pay the difference.
I have decided not to come anymore and would like a refund, is that possible?
Given the high cost imposed by payment services, we decided not to issue refunds on tickets. You can still write to us to change your ticket, to convert it to "Suspended Ticket" for example.
I will be staying at the campsite, so what facilities are there?
In addition to the restrooms available to anyone attending the event, you will have shower facilities. If you have purchased an overnight ticket you will be entitled to 3 shower tokens, which will be given to you during accreditation. If you need more tokens you can contact the hosts of the campsite to buy more at the price of 0.50 euro each!
What should I bring with me?
First and foremost, the desire to experience MOCA and to share this beautiful experience! We recommend that you bring with you: - A power strip (in the common spaces it will be very useful) - An Ethernet cable, if you prefer a wired connection - A mosquito repellent, to avoid nasty surprises - A CEE 2-pin+1 camping socket and an extension cord, to use electricity in the tent area. - Toilet paper Remember that this is a campground near the sea, so prepare accordingly.
Is there food service during MOCA?
The restaurant inside the campsite will be in operation throughout the event! The restaurant will provide two meals per day, lunch and dinner, and there will be a division into shifts in order to facilitate distribution. More details will be announced in the coming weeks. If you do not want to eat inside the campsite, there are several restaurants in the area!
If I have doubts or inquiries about tickets and accommodation, how can I contact you?
You can write to us at [email protected] with any questions or changes about tickets. If, on the other hand, you need an invoice after purchase, send an email to [email protected] indicating the order number.
Can I take photos and videos?
Yes, but make sure the people being filmed agree to appear! Remember that “no photo” pins are available at check-in, respect the people wearing them.
Where can I find the event rules and code of conduct?
You can find the camp and event regulations, along with the code of conduct, in the 'MOCA' section of the menu on this site. Please take some time to read them.
I am arriving by car, where can I park it?
A space is available to park your car near the entrance to the campsite ( https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/42.581129/14.092450 ). Parking costs 6 euros per day.
How can I pay inside MOCA?
The event will be entirely cashless, except for the in-site restaurant, which also accepts cash.
